Hi, I'm Dana — the eye behind the lens.

I started Lasso Photography in 2015 after a decade of shooting for local papers around Central Texas. I got tired of chasing headlines and wanted to chase something that actually held up over time — weddings, family portraits, the kind of pictures people still have on their walls twenty years later.

These days I split my time between weddings on the weekends, portrait sessions during the week, and the occasional editorial shoot when a brand needs something with a little more grit than a stock photo.
